The scale of it
That is the projection published by ONS, Brazil's system operator, for data centre demand — a tenfold increase in four years, already counting 22 signed contracts and 18 requesting parties.
In the Northeast alone there are 30 projects totalling 8.3 GW, with the state of Ceará accounting for roughly a third. Investment approved in that state through 2033 exceeds R$ 200 billion.
And the number that matters most to anyone building: on the works already under way at Pecém, 90% of contracts went to local companies. This is not a market you solve by importing a contractor.
The special tax regime approved by the Chamber of Deputies in February 2026 suspends import duty, PIS/Cofins and IPI — R$ 5.2 billion in incentive, suspended for five years and convertible into full exemption.

The connection few people make
Between January and April 2026 Brazil curtailed 2,843 average MW of solar and wind generation — 2,233 MW of it in the Northeast. That is power that exists, is contracted, and is discarded because there is nowhere to send it.
At the same time, Redata pushes 40% of qualifying investment into exactly those regions, and requires renewable supply.
It is the same equation seen from both ends. A well-sited data centre turns curtailed generation into useful load — and settles both the regime's counterpart obligation and the operation's energy cost at once.

Why us
Substations, connection spurs, civil works, electromechanical assembly and commissioning are exactly what One Energy has been doing across more than 450 MW built. The difference in a data centre is that the power flows in rather than out.
And one detail carries weight: we have already built in the Northeast, which is where Redata directs 40% of investment and where most of the announced 8.3 GW sits.
